Today, we have all the tools we need to end leprosy. Through active case finding, contact tracing and distributing a preventative antibiotic, leprosy can be stopped.
In the years to come, we will have revolutionary new diagnostic tests and we hope to have the first ever leprosy vaccine. With these tools, we have a plan that can end leprosy transmission.
However, leprosy is a neglected disease. What we need to end leprosy are the resources that neglected diseases too often lack. Your gift helps to make leprosy - and persons affected by leprosy - less neglected.
